PhD students present posters at AACR
This year the annual American Association for Cancer Research meeting was held in Atlanta, Georgia. Oliver Read, Raffaele De Filippis and Fiona McKissock all flew to the US for the first time to present posters. The conference placed a heavy emphasis on the advances in both immuno-oncology and precision medicine. The importance of translational research from both bench to bedside and bedside back to bench was highlighted in many informative and inspirational talks from world-leading experts in the field. Everyone learned so much at this international meeting and have returned to St Andrews with renewed vigour and new ideas for their research!
