Acid Fast Club
On 8th January, Dr Ruth Bowness presented her innovative work on mechanistic modelling of treatment in tuberculosis at the Acid Fast Club. Her presentation received an enthusiastic response from the audience prompting many questions. The Acid Fast Club is the leading small society dedicated to understanding tuberculosis and how to treat and prevent it. The club, now in its 52nd year, includes the leading mycobacteria researchers in the UK. Membership is by election only
