Emma’s Cold Water Challenge
Emma Stewart, Digital Support Modern Apprentice at the School of Medicine completed a cold water challenge throughout November raising £2,750 for Cancer Research UK. Inspired by a special person in her life, Emma pledged to immerse herself in cold water every day throughout November. Emma braved the cold North Sea temperatures by going for morning swims in various locations around the north east Fife coast from Cellardyke to St Andrews, with the occasional ice bath or cold shower.
Emma stated: “It was so much fun taking part in this challenge and I absolutely loved it when my friends and family joined me for some of the days”
