From lab bench to front bench
North East Fife MP Stephen Gethins visited the School of Medicine recently as part of a the pairing scheme run by The Royal Society.
This was the reciprocal visit after Mr Gethins hosted Dr Silvia Paracchini spent a week in Westminster in December 2017.
Mr Gethins was joined on this visit by MEP Ian Hudghton, both are pictured below with Dr Paracchini and members of her lab group
