Visit to Cardiff University
Ben Reilly O’Donnell, PhD student with Dr Sam Pitt recently visited the lab of Dr. Emyr Lloyd-Evans at Cardiff University. The Pitt and Lloyd-Evans groups have formed a collaboration to further investigate the changes in Calcium signalling during the progression of lysosomal storage disorders. During his visit Ben performed live- cell calcium imaging upon patient cell lines. Ben would like to thank the Physiological society and the School of Medicine who supported his visit. He would also like to thank the Lloyd-Evans lab who were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout his visit and look forward to further collaboration in the future.
